ABOUT
Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley (b. 1951) is a highly acclaimed and veteran musician who rose to fame as the original lead guitarist and co-founder of KISS. He remained with KISS through 1982 then formed his own band, Frehley's Comet, reuniting with KISS several times over the years. He began recording solo in 1978 and released his eponymous debut album that year, which went platinum. In 1978, he had a Top 20 hit with a cut from that album, the Russ Ballard-penned "New York Groove" (1978), which became his signature song in concert both solo and on tour with KISS. Frehley was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of KISS.
