Adam Faith (June 23, 1940 - March 08, 2003, b. Terence Nelhams) was a highly acclaimed and veteran English singer, actor, and former teen idol who became famous during the 1960s. Best known in the U.S. for the Top 40 smash, "It's Alright" (1965), he previously topped the U.K. charts with "What Do You Want?" (1959) and "Poor Me" (1960) and was one of the most charted acts of the 1960s. Over his long career, Faith also made numerous TV, movie, and stage appearances and is best known for starring in the 1970s U.K. TV series, "Budgie."
