Al Casey (October 26, 1936 - September 17, 2006) was a highly acclaimed guitarist from Long Beach, CA with a long career as a session musician (not to be confused with the jazz guitarist of the same name) who became famous as a performing artist during the early 1960s. Best known for such early rock & roll hits as the hard-driving "Surfin' Hootenanny" (1963), he was later inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
