Al Trace (December 25, 1900 - August 31, 1993) was an orchestra leader and songwriter famous during the 1940s. With his brother Ben and Sam Martin, he wrote "You Call Everybody Darlin'," which topped the charts in 1948. This smash recharted later that year and became a Top 40 hit.
