The Alley Cats were a doo-wop group from Los Angeles that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for the 1963 hit, "Puddin N' Tain (Ask Me Again, I'll Tell You The Same," which is based on a children's playground chant. Members included Bobby Sheen (May 17, 1941 - November 23, 2000) of Box B. Soxx & The Blue Jeans.
