Andre Williams (November 1, 1936 - March 17, 2019) was a veteran R&B singer, songwriter, and producer who became famous beginning in the mid 1950s. His best known songs include "Bacon Fat" (1957), "Cadillac Jack" (1966), "Rib Tip's" (1966), and "Pearl Time" (1967). He co-wrote such R&B classics as "Twine Time" and "Shake A Tail Feather" as made famous by Alvin Cash & The Crawlers and James & Bobby Purify, respectively.
