Animotion is a veteran synthpop band from Los Angeles that became famous during the late 1980s. They had two Top 10 hits with "Obsession" (1985) and "Room To Move" (1989), the latter of which is part of the soundtrack to "My Stepmother Is An Alien" (1988) starring Kim Basinger and Dan Aykroyd.
