ABOUT

Apollonia 6 was a female R&B vocal trio formed by Prince that became famous in the early 1980s. They are best known for "Sex Shooter" (1984), a Top 20 R&B hit and part of the soundtrack to "Purple Rain" (1984). Led by actress Patricia ("Apollonia") Kotero of TV's "Falcon Crest" who also co-starred with Prince in "Purple Rain," other Apollonia 6 members included Brenda Bennett and Susan Moonsie, both also of the Prince-founded Vanity 6.
