Archie Bleyer (June 12, 1909 - March 20, 1989) was a veteran orchestra leader, arranger, record company executive, and musical director of Arthur Godfrey's TV and radio shows who became famous as a performing artist during the mid 1950s. His best known songs include "Hernando's Hideaway" (1954) and "The Naughty Lady Of Shady Lane" (1954). In 1952, he founded Cadence Records that signed such top acts as The Chordettes, The Everly Brothers, and Andy Williams.
