The Astronauts

ABOUT

The Astronauts were a rock & roll group from Boulder, CO that became famous during the early 1960s. The original lineup consisted of Bob Demmon (guitar), Rich Fifield (lead guitar, vocals), Jim Gallagher (drums), Dennis Lindsey (guitar), and Jon "Storm" Patterson (bass, vocals), with a number of personnel changes. They are best known for the hard-driving instrumental surf rock hit, "Baja" (1963).
