Bama was a studio group from Alabama that became famous during the late 1970s. They are best known for the soft rock romantic ballad, "Touch Me When We're Dancing" (1979). This song later became a Top 20 hit for the Carpenters in 1981 and topped the Country charts for Alabama in 1986.
