Band Aid


Band Aid was a charity musical supergroup formed in London in 1984 by Bob Geldolf and Midge Ure to raise money for anti-famine efforts in Ethiopia. Members included Paul McCartney, Kool & The Gang, and many other top acts. They are best known for the Geldof/Ure-penned "Do They Know It's Christmas?" (1984, 1998).
