The Bay City Rollers are a veteran pop group from Scotland that became famous during the late 1970s as teen idols. The classic hitmaking lineup consisted of Eric Faulkner (guitar), brothers Derek (drums) and Alan Longmuir (bass, June 20, 1948 - July 2, 2018), Stuart Wood (guitar), and lead singer Les McKeown (November 12, 1955 - April 20, 2021), with many personnel changes over the years. Their many hits include the energetic "Saturday Night" (1976), which topped the charts.
