Benny Spellman (December 11, 1931 - June 3, 2011) was a deep bass R&B singer best known for "Lipstick Traces (On A Cigarette)" and the original version of "Fortune Teller." He also provided backing vocals on such hits as Ernie K-Doe's "Mother-In-Law."
