Betty Garrett (May 23, 1919 - February 12, 2011) was a veteran actress, comedian, singer, and dancer who became famous as a recording artist during the late 1940s. She is best known for the Top 10 smash, "Buttons And Bows" (1948). She began on Broadway then signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and starred in several movie musicals. She also appeared in such TV series that include "All In The Family," "Laverne & Shirley," "The Golden Girls," "Grey's Anatomy," "Boston Public," and "Becker."
