Betty Grable (December 18, 1916 - July 2, 1973) was a celebrated actress, singer, model, and dancer who became famous beginning in the 1930s. She starred and performed in numerous movies and came to prominence in the Broadway musical, "Du Barry Was A Lady" (1939). She had a Top 5 hit in 1945 with "I Can't Begin To Tell You" as featured in "The Dolly Sisters" (1945) in which she co-starred. A hugely popular pin-up girl during World War II, she was famous for her iconic legs, which were insured for $1 million. A major box office draw for 20th Century Fox in the 1940s, Grable was one of the highest-paid actresses of her time.
