Billy Walker (January 14, 1929 - May 21, 2006) was a veteran country singer and a longtime Grand Ole Opry member with a nearly six-decade career who became famous during the early 1960s. Best known for "Charlie's Shoes" (1962), which topped the Country charts, he had a Pop/Rock crossover hit in 1960 with "Forever."
