The Blossoms are a veteran female R&B vocal group who, at the height of their commercial fame in the 1960s, were led by Darlene Love and backed such top acts as The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, and Dionne Warwick. They made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1961 with "Son-In-Law," a humorous answer song to Ernie K-Doe's "Mother-In-Law." They later also had a hit on the R&B charts with "Good, Good Lovin'" (1967).
