Blue Lu Barker (November 13, 1913 - May 7, 1998, b. Louise Dupont) was a jazz and blues singer from New Orleans who became famous beginning in the late 1930s. She often performed with her husband, jazz guitarist Danny Barker. Her best known songs include the sweet and upbeat "A Little Bird Told Me" (1948), a Top 5 R&B hit. Barker was inducted into the Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame in 1997.
