Blue Stars was a eight-member male-female pop/jazz group formed in Paris, France by American-born lead singer Blossom Dearie (April 28, 1924 - February 7, 2009) that became famous during the mid 1950s. They are best known for their Top 20 hit rendition of the jazz standard, "Lullaby Of Birdland" (1955).
