Bob Wills (March 6, 1905 - May 13, 1975) was a highly acclaimed and influential country/Western swing singer, songwriter, fiddle player, and bandleader who became famous beginning in the 1930s and appeared in many Westerns. His best known songs include "San Antonio Rose" (1941) and "New Spanish Two Step" (1946), the latter of which topped the Country charts. Wills was inducted into the Country Hall of Fame in 1968 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
