Boney M was a Euro-Caribbean vocal group from Germany formed by record producer/singer-songwriter Frank Farian that became internationally famous during the late 1970s disco era. They are best known in the U.S. for their Top 40 hit remake of The Melodians' "Rivers Of Babylon" (1978).
