Jules Leonard "Buddy" Kaye (January 3, 1918 - November 21, 2002) was a songwriter, lyricist, arranger, producer, and author who became famous during the late 1940s. As a recording artist, he is best known for the cheery-sounding "Thoughtless" (1948) and the old-timey alphabet song, "'A' - You're Adorable" (1949), which both made the Pop Top 40.
