Benjamin Clarence "Bull Moose" Jackson (April 22, 1919 - July 31, 1989) was a blues and R&B singer and saxophonist covering romantic ballads as well as bawdier material who became famous during the late 1940s. He had his biggest crossover success with the slow, smooth, and romantic "I Love You, Yes I Do" (1948), which topped the R&B charts, made the Pop Top 40, and became the first R&B single to sell a million copies. He also topped the R&B charts with the yearning "I Can't Go On Without You" (1948), and other major hits include "All My Love Belongs to You" (1948), "Little Girls Don't Cry" (1949), and "Why Don't You Haul Off And Love Me" 1949).
