ABOUT
The California Raisins were a fictional aminated R&B group of anthropomorphized raisins with lead vocals by Buddy Miles best remembered for their Sun-Maid TV commercials from the late 1980s. They were featured in the Emmy-winning "A Claymation Christmas Celebration" originally broadcast on CBS in 1987. The following year, they made a splash on the charts with their remake of the Marvin Gaye classic, "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" (1988).
