Candi (a.k.a. Candi & The Backbeat ) was a short-lived Canadian pop group from Toronto led by Candita "Candy" Pennella that became famous during the late 1980s. They are best known in the U.S. for the upbeat freestyle dance classic, "Dancing Under A Latin Moon" (1988).
