Carl Butler (June 2, 1927 - September 4, 1992) was a veteran country singer who, with his wife Pearl, became famous during the 1960s. Carl Butler & Pearl had their greatest hit and crossover success in 1963 with the waltzy ballad, "Don't Let Me Cross Over," which topped the Country charts.
