Carl Dobkins Jr. (January 13, 1941 - April 8, 2020) was a veteran singer and songwriter from Cincinnati, OH who became famous during the late 1950s. He is best known for the Hal David/Lee Pockriss-penned "My Heart Is An Open Book" (1959), which made the Pop/Rock Top 5 and became a million-seller.
