Casey Kelly is a highly acclaimed and veteran songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and session singer and musician who became famous during the early 1970s. As a recording artist, he is best known for the upbeat pop rocker, "Poor Boy" (1972). His numerous songwriting credits for other artists include four Country Top 10 hits: "Anyone Who Isn't Me Tonight" by Kenny Rogers and Dottie West, "Soon" by Tanya Tucker, "Somewhere Down The Line" by T G Shepherd, and the country standard, "The Cowboy Rides Away," by George Strait.
