ABOUT

Celebration was a short-lived rock band led by Mike Love of The Beach Boys that became famous during the late 1970s. Other members included Ron Altbach and Dave "Doc" Robinson of King Harvest. They are best known for "Almost Summer" (1978), a Beach Boys sound-alike Top 40 hit co-written by Love, Al Jardine, and Brian Wilson which was the title song from the comedy starring Bruno Kirby and Lee Purcell.
