The Cheers were a short-lived male-female vocal trio with a flair for novelty songs that consisted of Sue Allen, Gil Garfield, and Bert Convy (July 23, 1933 - July 15, 1991) who later became a popular TV actor and game show host. Their best known songs include the Leiber and Stoller-penned "(Bazoom) I Need Your Lovin'" (1954) and "Black Denim Trousers" (1955).
