ABOUT

The Chords were a doo-wop group from the Bronx, NY that became famous during the mid 1950s. The original lineup consisted of William "Ricky" Edwards (bass), Claude Feaster (baritone), Jimmy Keyes (first tenor), Floyd "Buddy" McRae (second tenor) and lead singer Carl Feaster. They are best known for "Sh-Boom" (1954), a doo-wop classic co-written by Chords group members.
