Chris Barber (April 17, 1930 - March 2, 2021) was a highly acclaimed and veteran English trombonist, songwriter, and bandleader who became famous beginning in the early 1950s. He is best known for his rendition of the Sidney Bechet-penned instrumental, "Petite Fleur (Little Flower)" (1959), which became a Top 5 hit in both the U.S. and the U.K.
