Chris Bartley (April 17, 1947 - October 26, 2009) was an R&B singer from New York City who became famous during the late 1960s. He is best known for the Van McCoy-penned "The Sweetest Thing This Side Of Heaven" (1967), a Top 10 R&B hit which also made the Pop/Rock Top 40.
