Chris Columbo (June 17, 1902 - August 20, 2002, b. Joseph Christopher Columbus Morris) was a veteran jazz drummer and bandleader who became famous during the early 1960s. As a recording artist, he is best known for his instrumental remake of George Gershwin's "Summertime" (1963, Chris Columbo Quintet), featuring extended jazzy organ passages by Johnny "Hammond" Smith.
