Chris De Burgh (b. Christopher John Davison, 1948) is a veteran British-Irish singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist who became famous during the 1980s. He is best known worldwide for the era-defining romantic ballad, "The Lady In Red" (1987), which topped the charts in several countries and made the U.S. Top 5.
