ABOUT

The Clash was a highly acclaimed and influential English rock band that became famous during the early 1980s. Their best known songs include such new wave classics as "Rock The Casbah" (1982). The classic lineup consisted of Nicky "Topper" Headon (drums, percussion), Mick Jones (lead guitar, vocals), Paul Simonon (bass, vocals), and lead singer Joe Strummer (rhythm guitar), with some personnel changes. In 2003, The Clash was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
