Norman "Cooker" DesRosiers is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who began as a member of The Groupies, a 1960s garage rock-psychedelic rock band from New York City, before he became famous as a solo artist during the 1970s. He is best known for the melodious soft rock ballad, "Try (Try To Fall In Love)" (1974).
