Crystal Gayle (b. 1951) is a highly acclaimed and veteran country music singer known for her floor-length hair who became famous beginning in the early 1970s. Best known for the Grammy-winning "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" (1977), which topped the Country charts, made the Pop/Rock Top 5, and became her biggest crossover success, her many Country chart-toppers also include "I'll Get Over You" (1976), "Ready For The Times To Get Better" (1978), "Talking In Your Sleep" (1978), "It's Like We Never Said Goodbye" (1980), and "You And I" (1982, with Eddie Rabbitt). Born Brenda Gail Webb, she is the younger sister of late country great Loretta Lynn.
