The Cues were an R&B/doo-wop group from New York City that became famous as recording artists during the 1950s and also served as backing singers for LaVern Baker, Ruth Brown, Ivory Joe Hunter, Big Joe Turner, and many others. The Cues best known songs include "Burn That Candle" (1955) and "Why" (1957).
