ABOUT

Danny & The Juniors were a hugely popular rock & roll/R&B group that became famous during the late 1950s. They are best known for the era-defining classic, "At The Hop" (1957), which topped both the R&B and Pop/Rock charts. Danny & The Juniors continued through 2019 with some personnel changes; original frontman Danny Rapp (May 9, 1941 - April 3, 1983) remained with the group through the early 1980s. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003.
