ABOUT

The Dardanelle Trio was a group led by jazz pianist, vibraphonist, and singer Dardanelle Breckenbridge (December 27, 1917 - August 8, 1997) that became famous during the mid 1940s. They are best known for their hit cover of the pop standard, "September Song" (1946), featured in the movie musical, "Knickerbocker Holiday" (1944) starring Nelson Eddy.
