David Castle (b. 1952) is a veteran singer-songwriter, producer, and movie and TV composer from Overton, TX who became famous during the late 1970s. As a performing artist, he is best known for the introspective soft rock ballads, "Ten To Eight" (1977) and "The Loneliest Man On The Moon" (1978). Castle's songs have been recorded by such bands and artists as The Lettermen, Marilyn McCoo, Helen Reddy, and Bobby Vinton.
