ABOUT
David Foster (b. 1949) is a veteran Grammy-winning Canadian record producer, film composer, and music executive who began in the early 1970s as a member of Skylark before becoming famous as a recording artist during the mid 1980s. Best known for "Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire" (1985), other hits include "Winter Themes" (1988) which was used as the theme for ABC's broadcast of the 1988 Winter Olympics. Foster has written/produced numerous hits for such top acts as Chicago and Barbra Streisand.
