David Gilmour

ABOUT

David Gilmour is a highly acclaimed and veteran English guitarist, singer, and songwriter who became famous beginning in the late 1960s as a member of Pink Floyd, serving as the band's guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and one of the main songwriters. As a solo artist, he released five albums, three of which topped the U.K. charts, and he had a hit in the U.S. in 1984 with "Blue Light." He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 with Pink Floyd. He was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2005 for his services to music and received an O2 Silver Clef Award in 2025.
