David Hill

David Hill (September 19, 1936 - October 7, 2011, b. David Alexander Hess) was an actor, singer, songwriter, and director who came to prominence in the 1970s and 1980s for his portrayals of murderous rapists, villains, and other bad hombres in several horror movies, most notably "The Last House On The Left" (1972). He began his multi-faceted career in the late 1950s as a songwriter for Shalimar Music, penning songs for such artists as The Ames Brothers, Pat Boone, Sal Mineo, and Elvis Presley. As a recording artist, Hill is best known for the haunting "Two Brothers" (1959) and his hit cover of Cliff Richard's "Living Doll" (1959).
