The Deadly Nightshade is a veteran female rock and country group originally consisting of Anne Bowen, Pamela Brandt (February 6, 1947 - July 31, 2015), and Helen Hooke that became famous during the mid 1970s. They are best known for their hit disco cover of "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1976), the title theme from the satirical TV soap opera series starring Louise Lasser.
