Debbie Gibson (b. Deborah Ann Gibson) is a highly acclaimed and veteran singer, songwriter, and actress who became famous beginning in the late 1980s while still in her teens. Best known for the chart-topping "Foolish Beat" (1988) and "Lost In Your Eyes" (1989), other big hits include "Out Of The Blue" (1988), the title track to her triple platinum debut album. Gibson was named by ASCAP as Songwriter of the Year in 1989, along with Bruce Springsteen.
