Depeche Mode is a highly acclaimed and veteran electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex that became famous during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The original lineup consisted of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher, and Vince Clarke, with a number of personnel changes over the years. They are best known for "People Are People" (1985), "Enjoy The Silence" (1990), and "Policy Of Truth" (1990). They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
