Dick Contino (January 17, 1930 - April 19, 2017) was a singer, actor, and virtuoso accordionist who became famous as a performing artist during the late 1950s. His best known songs include the evocative instrumental, "Yours (Quiereme Mucho)" (1954), and the sung romantic pop ballad, "Pledge Of Love" (1957). Once known as the "world's greatest accordion player," he appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show an astounding 48 times.
